NYC Love
While I still would prefer to live in LA, I think NYC is the coolest city in the world. Once upon a time I lived in NYC for just over a year, but that was a bit more indulgent and toxic time in my life. I’m quite grateful for a much healthier lifestyle now. These days when I visit I hit all the newest vegan joints and juice bars. Here are a few of my favorites…
Pure Foods & Wine (my new nyc fav!) Great raw, vegan food in a super cool setting. Ck out garden in back. Near Union Square.
Jivamuktea Cafe. Super cool, hidden 2nd floor gem in yoga center. Also near Union Square.
Hangawi. Leave your shoes at the door. Great soothing ambiance & Asian vegan foods. Midtown.
Candle Cafe. Always a winner, located on the UWS and the UES.
Sacred Chow. Cozy, satisfying vegan grub. The Dahl & Caesar w seared tofu protein fit the bill for the day I visited. Greenwich Village.
sNice. Laid back cafe w good vegan options. West Village, SoHo and Brooklyn
Gobos. Mixed reviews from others but I like. West Village and UES.
Blossom. UWS. West Village. Chelsea.
Still on my list…
Dirt Candy. On the top of my “next time” list. Had saved it till Sunday, but whoops, closed on Sundays. East Village.
Caravan of Dreams. Have heard great things, looking forward to returning and trying soon. East Village.
Angelica Kitchen. East Village.
How about you, do you have any great vegan joints to add to this list? I would love to hear your suggestions.
I really love Caravan of Dreams and only discovered it within my last year of living in NYC. Definitely try it out!
Thanks JL! I’m hoping to be back soon. Any others I must add to the list?
